Why
Specialty training?
The answer is quite simple. An entry level course provides you with
the motor skills, equipment knowledge, and minimum open water experience
needed to be considered a safe diver. However, and Open Water Diver
Course does not make a specialist.
Specialty training
has two primary objectives: prepare your for new diving situations,
and to improve your level of skill. The SSI Spcialty Diver Program provides
an excellent introduction to a variety of different diving subjects
such as Deep Diving, Boat Diving, Night Diving / Limited Visability,
and many others. These courses are designed to enhance both the enjoyment
and safety of each new situation. A specialty course takes you clearly
beyond what you may have leaarned in your Open Water Diver Course.
